Clydesdale Cottage is a Bed & Breakfast that was founded in 2012 and has since attracted a generous number of interesting guests from around the world.

This is a story about a woman with one dream of owning a cottage at the heart of Kuala Lumpur city center and yet away from the hustle and bustle of the busy traffic. Her name is Jam. Born and bred in Kuala Lumpur, Jam was inspired with the beautiful vast country side of England and was fascinated with its classic English cottage style homes. Her experiences living and travelling in the UK was what sparked her even more to pursue her dream home.

For many years, Jam would spend channeling all her time and energy reading, googling and drawing out her own home designs on pieces of paper or a workbook working out interior decorations, color pallets and materials that could suit each themed room and anything bringing the English cottage to life. She would tell her kids, “If I draw out this cottage the way I want it to look, I might magically sneeze out a Tudor one day”. True enough, Clydesdale Cottage was finally brought to life and it was an English Tudor cottage.

Clydesdale Cottage is situated in the heart of an 18 hole golf course designed by Jack-Nicklaus which was built in the mid 90’s. It’s a great choice of accommodation for travelers who enjoy getting to know the Malaysian culture with a wee bit of the English touch. The B&B is about 45 minutes drive from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport and one can enjoy the outdoors and fresh hot springs near the Hulu Langat forest located at the 9th mile. Alternatively travelers can head to Putrajaya for some fun activities like kayaking, wall climbing, cycling, hiking and bird watching. Travelers who enjoys shopping can head to ioi City Mall by taking a 15 minute drive from the B&B and still squeeze in other indoor fun activities like ice skating and ice hockey on an Olympic sized ice rink or enjoying an indoor extreme park at District 21.

As for food, Clydesdale Cottage comes with breakfast. Guests have a choice of local breakfast like Nasi Lemak or English breakfast freshly served from 7am to 10am. For lunch, guests have the privilege to eat at the club as member’s guests or try out Chinese Cuisine at Homst, or western cuisine at Secret Recipe and Western Station.
